Unlock God-Roll Affixes in Diablo 4 Lord of Hatred using IGGM’s Hidden Tech

Trending Post

Horadric Cube in Diablo 4 Lord of Hatred offers staggeringly powerful effects – it can alter item types or reroll affixes on gear. There’s an element of randomness, but when you land that perfect outcome, every resource poured into it feels justified. Players have yet to unlock its full potential.

What follows is a crafting technique that Diablo 4 players have been quietly exploiting. You might have spotted some absolutely insane affixes on their equipment. Here’s how, explained by IGGM.

How to land monstrous affixes?

First, pick up every single Legendary weapon that drops with a Greater Affix (GA). It doesn’t matter whether its stats suit your build. Don’t overthink it – as long as it’s a Legendary item, throw it straight into Horadric Cube, hit Transfigure, and wait for the result.

There’s no need to visit Blacksmith or Occultist specifically to re-roll a stat to fit your build. Simply amass enough GA gear.

A weapon with perfect base affixes is certainly nice, but you don’t have to chase high damage multipliers obsessively. Snagging a great affix on top of that is merely a bonus, because your real target is an affix like Gem Strength.

This is made possible by Flawless Horadric Gem introduced in Lord of Hatred expansion, which grants a 32% boost to a specific damage type. If you manage to secure a 333% increase to Gem Strength, that Flawless Horadric Gem’s contribution skyrockets to roughly 139%. With such a colossal amplification, the weapon’s innate damage multipliers become practically irrelevant.

Transfiguring

Transfiguring carries an extremely high chance of rendering an item Unmodifiable, though it’s not guaranteed. After conversion, some Diablo 4 items can still remain in a modifiable state.

The ideal scenario after pressing Transfigure is rolling 333% Gem Strength affix while the item stays modifiable. If things go wrong, the only thing consumed is some Primordial Dust – a trivial sacrifice next to the enormous potential upside.

That dream outcome, however, rarely comes around often. Every attempt holds a shot at a top-tier affix, but more often than not you’re simply cycling through trial and error. You might need hundreds of attempts and should stockpile a vast quantity of GA Legendary items beforehand.

If resource management becomes a headache, or you’d rather not waste time farming these items yourself, you can buy cheap and reliable Diablo 4 items from IGGM. Whether you need materials or GA gear, there’s ample supply.

Modifiable Gear

Once you’ve finally obtained an item that remains modifiable after conversion and carries a desirable affix, follow these steps:

  1. Visit Blacksmith to perform Tempering.
  2. Proceed with Masterworking.
  3. Head to Occultist to re-roll one stat.
  4. Imprint Aspect you need.
  5. Add sockets.

After completing all of that, you can even Transfigure the same piece of equipment a second time! A second conversion could produce yet another insane result.

How to handle rare items?

For a rare Diablo 4 item bearing a Greater Affix, rather than investing resources into re-rolling a single stat directly, upgrade it to Legendary first and then Transfigure it. You could simultaneously land a strong conversion outcome and an even better Aspect.

Once upgraded to Legendary, with a bit of luck you might even obtain an Aspect you didn’t yet possess – possibly a perfect rolled version.

How to handle Mythic Items?

This method works exceptionally well for Mythic items, because their affixes are fixed. You don’t need to stress over further crafting – the moment you get a top-tier affix, it’s ready to use.

After you place a Mythic item into Transfiguring process and it ends up unmodifiable, you can salvage it into Resplendent Sparks and then craft it anew.

Farming Diablo 4 Mythic items in Season 13 is far easier, especially when you effortlessly gather a huge number of them through Tribute of Armaments. That means you could end up with multiple copies of the same Mythic item – The Grandfather or Melted Heart of Selig, for example.

Keep a single copy to share across your characters, and repeatedly Transfigure the duplicates. If they turn out unmodifiable, simply salvage them. Even if a successfully converted Mythic item doesn’t perfectly align with your build, its affix may still outperform what you currently have equipped.

Do you need to do this?

The whole approach can deliver a significant power spike to your Diablo 4 build, pushing you an extra 3 to 4 tiers in The Pit. That said, even without it you can clear all content, whether it’s Torment 12 or taking down Uber Bosses.

What it really does is grant overwhelming destructive force to builds that aren’t typically top-tier, making it a fantastic supplement for players who enjoy off-meta setups.

You can easily repeat this process hundreds of times. If you’re sitting on a mountain of Primordial Dust and idle materials, there’s no reason to hold back – simply pick up every item with a Greater Affix, Transfigure it before discarding, and you might just hit the jackpot.

The beauty of this technique lies in its sheer simplicity – you can do it anytime. Should you decide to give it a try in Diablo 4 Lord of Hatred, IGGM recommends first assembling a basic gear set that lets you farm comfortably, then gradually grinding for equipment and taking your chances with RNG.
